Why pineapple? Because it contains glutathione peroxidase, an enzyme that prevents changes in artery walls leading to atherosclerosis.
- 2 pineapples, peeled, cut into chunks
- 4 peaches, peeled, pits removed, cut into chunks
- 1 cup of iced cubes
- Pinch of cinnamon
- Clean and peel pineapple. Cut the fruit into chunks. Do the same with peaches.
- Put it into the blender. Add a pinch of cinnamon and ice cubes, and briefly blend all ingredients.
Optional: You can make a thick smoothie by adding 1 banana.
