We are an international team of enthusiastic researchers from various fields, aiming to promote health literacy through the critical analysis of information related to nutrition, physical activity, and health. In doing so, we use straightforward language (and common sense) in an effort to avoid oversimplification and overgeneralization.
In this day and age, we are exposed to virtually unlimited health-related messages intended to greatly impact our (buying) decisions. So, our job at Nutrition & Clever Chemistry is not only about deskwork: reviewing literature, creating and performing statistical and other analyses. We want to make a difference by helping people distinguish relevant health information from potentially harmful junk.
We will be covering topics including crash diets, physical activity, body image, and other lifestyle factors that all play a key role in the onset and progression of obesity and food-related diseases. We are speaking here of the lifelong developments of specific and improved behaviours that will help bring us results that last: the steady and continuous effort to gain control over our everyday diet and activity levels. It’s about more physical activity, smoking cessation, alcohol restrictions and healthy eating habits that are absolutely attainable, but require our conscious effort and ability to withstand emotions that are not always pleasurable.
